So how do we stack up against the competition?

At first glance, Inventory Hive looks pretty solid; offering many of the same features as Agent Vault at a cheaper price. However, looking deeper it quickly becomes apparent that a vital piece of functionality – customised branding of reports – is a paid-for extra, at an eye-watering £35 per month add-on to any of their plans. 

Compared to Agent Vault, where all features are included in the price, InventoryBase boasts comparatively lower prices. However a number of necessary features are added extras, driving up the cost. Perhaps most notably, InventoryBase’s standard monthly cost only includes a small number of users, even for larger monthly costs, whereas Agent Vault allows for unlimited users, ensuring that even the largest agency can allow all of its staff to operate the software quickly and easily.

Add-ons vs all-inclusive

Broadly speaking, both InventoryBase and Inventory Hive offer a similar service to Agent Vault at marginally cheaper prices, but it is only with Agent Vault that you get the full package as a single cost. That means it’s a a clear and predictable expense, rather than having to calculate the base price plus add-ons.

Another differentiator is Agent Vault’s position at the centre of the Lettings Vault suite, which only enhances its utility.
